Personality:
River and Rose are an adorable, affectionate bonded pair who love to snuggle up to you as much as possible and enjoy a good run around with a ball. They generally walk nicely on the lead and are a joy to walk, they have stolen many hearts here and we can’t wait for them to find their forever home.
Behaviour:
These beautiful girls have been super friendly since the day they arrived with us and considering they lived a sheltered life before we met them they have taken new experiences in their stride and are learning to enjoy new experiences rather than fear them. Potential adopters would still need to be prepared to take things at their pace and understand new things may worry them. Rose will occasionally bark at other dogs but we believe this to be down to frustration on the lead. We don’t believe they have been toilet trained so potential adopters would need to be prepared to work on this in the home and be ok with cleaning up accidents while they learn.
Housing:
River and Rose will need to be rehomed together and kept together most of the time due to them being very anxious about being separated. They would need a private enclosed garden ideally with lots of places for them to explore. They will need regular grooming and have been very tolerant of this here.
Children/pets:
Could live with dog savvy Children over the age of 8 years, must be the only animals in the home due to having a high prey drive.
Vet history:
Both dogs have been spayed and are fully up to date with flea and worming treatment. River had a severe ear infection when she first came to us, she is recovering well but it is possible she may need treatment for flair ups in the future and any adopter would need to be prepared to monitor her ears closely.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
