Name: Rik, Neil & Vivienne
Age: 1 year approx
Sex: Male and Female
Breed: Rabbit
Ref number: 17, 18 + 24
Personality:
Rik, Neil & Vivienne are three very close siblings who will often be found snuggling up together in one of their houses. They love spending time outside in our large play area where you will see them regularly binkying and doing zoomies. It is here that their personalities come out and they really shine. The staff get so much pleasure seeing them be carefree like this. They are looking for a family/couple/individual who will be content to remain hands off and who will enjoy observing them interacting with each other and their environment, and providing them with the understanding home that they need.
Behaviour:
Handling of any kind makes them very nervous and they are skittish around sudden movements and sounds. Staff and volunteers read to them daily so that they can build up trust and confidence around people without the fear that they will be caught/picked up and they know that it is their choice to approach us or not. They are curious rabbits at heart and will approach those they know well and trust. We would encourage this approach in their new home. Potential adopters will be invited in to meet Rik, Neil & Vivienne and to discuss with staff the best ways to interact with them.
Housing:
They will need a large outdoor shed with an aviary attached. Sizes can be discussed with staff.
Children/pets:
Children will need to be no younger than 14 years old. This is because all three rabbits are nervous around people and require a hands off, calm and quiet approach.
Vet history:
Rik, Neil & Vivienne are all neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and have had their teeth checked. They currently have no medical issues.
Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £75. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the rabbits.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
