Personality:
Reign came into us from a multi cat household and has settled in quickly. He now enjoys exploring the whole of the cattery but always comes back for a fuss and a good natter, he can be a very vocal boy who has a lot to say for himself. Reign can still be sensitive to loud noises from the outside due to living inside a flat his whole life.
Behaviour:
As Reign has settled he has become more confident in exploring his surroundings. When he first came to us he was a shy boy who would stay in the inside area of his pod, now he is straight out to see you and will chat to you as you make a fuss of him and headbutt your hands if you stop before he’s ready. If he hears a noise that startles him he will head back to his unit and watch from the door way until he feels safe again.
Housing:
Reign does get easily spooked when out exploring the cattery floor and will run back to his unit where he feels safe, so for this reason he would need his own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually an enclosed private garden. He cannot be homed in Fareham (PO15 area).
Children/pets:
Reign can live with older aged secondary school children who will be calm around him while he settles. Reign will need to be the only pet.
Vet history:
Reign is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Reign has a slightly unusual gate while he walks. He has had x-rays which has shown no abnormalities. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Additional information:
All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
