Personality:
Pugsy is an energetic but affectionate puppy. He loves to play and charge around with a ball whilst also enjoying breaking it up with some cuddles and affection. Pugsy can be wary to begin with but it doesn’t take him long to gain some confidence and will be looking for adopters who are willing to give him the time to do this. He’s made lots of friends already on site and will be a wonderful addition to the right home.
Behaviour:
Pugsy is a typical puppy! He is finding his voice and will need support with experiencing new things and building up his confidence. Pugsy will need to learn to be left and so will need adopters who will be at home most of the time to begin with and will be prepared to take handling slow to begin with. He’s been doing well with meeting dogs and people during his time at the ark and will benefit from this continuing in the home.
Housing:
Pugsy will need access to a secure garden where he can exercise. Cannot be rehomed to the PO13 area.
Children/pets:
Pugsy could live with sensible children 10+ and could live with a dog of a similar size pending successful meets here at the centre. Cannot live with cats.
Vet history:
Pugsy has no known medical conditions. He is fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming. Pugsy will need to be castrated and will need to return to the centre post adoption for this.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
