Personality:
Posie came into us as a stray so we don’t know anything about her background. It quickly became apparent that she didn’t enjoy the confinements of the cattery environment so she was moved out of the main cattery and has since thrived. Now she is away from other cats and has more space she is showing us what a loving and affectionate girl she is.
Behaviour:
Posie is a very confident girl who will greet everyone with a meow and a rub around your legs and will sometimes stretch up against your legs. Once you’ve sat down she will quickly jump up on your lap for some fuss whilst constantly purring. She’s even been known to settle on you for a while. She is a clever girl who enjoys her lunchtime enrichment activities, although she will keep checking in with you as she loves human company. Posie can be quite vocal when people aren’t around to give her the attention she craves so she would benefit from having people around a lot of the day. Posie has shown no interest in toys at the moment but this might change once she is settled in a home.
Housing:
Posie will need a home with outside access to a garden. She cannot be homed in Emsworth.
Children/pets:
Posie can live with older aged secondary school children who will understand when Posie needs space. She will need to be the only pet in the home.
Vet history:
Posie is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. Her second vaccination is due between 04/07/25-10/06/24 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Posie has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
