Pluto

Name: Pluto

Age: 7 years

Sex: Male

Breed: DSH

Ref number: 14

Personality:
Pluto is a very handsome chap with bundles of personality! He’s an inquisitive boy who is into everything and loves to get at height in the cattery so he can see everything that is going on. He’s equally affectionate as he is playful and certainly enjoys his food.

Behaviour:
Pluto has loads of energy to burn off and will usually be found running up and down the cattery floor playing with a variety of toys, often checking in for a bit of fuss. Once he’s tired himself out he will jump up on our lap for a cuddle and a snooze. Sometimes he can be very vocal to get your attention.

Housing:
Pluto will need a home with outside access to a fully enclosed private garden. He cannot be homed in Fareham, PO16 area.

Children/pets:
Pluto came into our care as he didn’t get on with the other cat in the property so would be best suited as an only cat. He can live with children aged 5+ who will be gentle with him.

Vet history:
Pluto is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. When Pluto came into us he had a limp; X-rays have shown he has a soft tissue injury from a previous trauma. Most of the time he has no issues, occasionally he has a little limp but he soon walks it off. Sometimes he may need some pain relief if he is uncomfortable.  He also came in with bad skin so is currently on a special diet of Royal Canin Anallergenic cat food. He is on a course of steroids to help his skin which he is being weaned off of. He is currently on a low dose which will be provided in his new home to complete the course. Pluto will need routine vet prescribed flea and worming treatment and a reduction in allergen exposure. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £80. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the Cat.
