Petunia

Name: Petunia

Age: 14 years

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 52

Personality:
Petunia is a sweet girl. She is vocal when she is first greeted by socialisers. She enjoys having company, exploring the cattery floor and can be playful at times with her favourite mouse toy. She is a professional at finding the best spot to snooze in and loves nothing more than a comfy bed.

Behaviour:
Petunia looks forward to a little chat and some fuss with her socialisers. She likes to lay next to you, purring, paddy pawing her blanket, and having some gentle strokes. She will headbutt you to let you know she wants more fuss. She will enjoy a little explore of the cattery floor when its quiet and will return to her unit when she’s ready for a couple of yummy treats.

Housing:
Petunia prefers exploring the cattery floor when its quiet and will return to her unit where she feels safe, so for this reason she would benefit from her own room or quiet area for the first couple days to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. She cannot be homed in Fareham PO15.

Children/pets:
Petunia could live with older secondary school aged children who will be calm around her. She will need to be the only pet in the household.

Vet history:
Petunia is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Petunia has had a dental whilst in our care which she is recovering well from. She has also had spells of being a bit snuffly so it’s likely she is a cat flu carrier. She is currently not on any treatment for this. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
