Petal and Poppy

Name: Petal and Poppy

Age: 10 weeks

Sex: Female x 2

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 72 & 73

Personality:
Poppy and Petal are a sweet pair of girls who have been lucky to have spent some time in a lovely foster home whilst they were still tiny. They are typical kittens who love to play and are into anything they can get to. They are affectionate girls so they enjoy having human company and will often interact by climbing all over you for some gentle strokes.

Behaviour:
Once Poppy and Petal are worn out after a good play around, they are usually seen cuddled up in the bed together. They like playing with a variety of toys and are lots of fun to be around. Chasing after balls, pouncing at the feather stick toys and sometimes untying shoelaces keeps them very occupied. They both come over to check in and let you know when they want a fuss.

Housing:
Poppy and Petal prefer the safety of their unit and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason they would benefit from their own unused room to initially settle in for the first couple days before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden.

Children/pets:
With a slow introduction they could possibly live with another cat or a dog who is use to living with cats: they will need to be used to kittens with high energy levels. Poppy and Petal could go with any aged children. Whilst we believe these kittens to be happy around young children, they should be supervised at all times.

Vet history:
Poppy and Petal is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. Their third vaccination is due between 11/07/25 – 17/07/25 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Poppy and Petal have no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £210. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
