Pearl is looking for her forever home. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
She is an independent girl who likes to do things on her terms. She currently is not very keen on being handled but the staff are working with her to build her trust with this and she is improving gradually. Some days Pearl is full of beans and other days like a sleepy teenager! She loves her enrichment, especially boxes and ladders; the more creative and elaborate the better!
We have tried bonding her with 2 different ferrets and she took a dislike to them. If you have got experience in bonding ferrets this will be great but if not we can help here at the shelter.
If you do not have any ferrets but have a lot of experience with more complex ferrets then we would let you adopt her on her own for you both to build up trust with each other. With the plan being you contact us a couple of months after adopting her to hopefully find a friend for her.
Your ferret/s must be vaccinated and neutered and you will need a 6ft square minimum outdoor pen with 3 solid sides, a roof and a lot of different levels. We do not rehome ferrets to cages or hutches.
For more information please contact the shelter.
Adoption fee: minimum donation of £25
