Name: Parker
Age: 2 years
Sex: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Ref number: 189
Personality:
Parker has been lucky enough to go to a foster home after struggling to settle in the cattery environment. Parker is a shy boy who has benefited from a quiet set up with minimal disruptions. Whilst he was in the cattery, our wildlife cameras observed that he is quite a playful boy, spending lots of time chasing balls and toys.
Behaviour:
Parker has started to make a bond with his foster carer and is growing his confidence to explore. He likes the comfort of his hides and once he feels ready, he ventures out to approach his foster carer. He can be an affectionate boy and will lean in for some gentle strokes. Sometimes even chilling on her lap for a fuss.
Parker is still sensitive so his owners will need to be patient and allow him to adjust at his own pace.
Housing:
Parker will need his own used room to settle into before exploring the rest of the property and eventually a garden. He cannot be homed in Eastleigh so50
Children/pets:
Parker will an adult only household and will need to be the only pet.
Vet history:
Parker is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Parker has no known medical conditions. Parker came into our care with ear mites. He has had routine
treatment for this and regular ear cleaning. His ears are now looking much better but adopters will need to be aware as he may need ad-hoc cleaning in the future. Regular vet prescribed flea and wormer is advised from your own vet. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
