Rehoming – Profile

History:

Oscar came into us as his owner could no longer offer him the care he needed.

Behaviour observations on site:

Oscar is such a little sweetheart who loves nothing more than having lots of fuss and attention, especially having his cheeks and chin tickled, he also has the loudest purr.

In Oscar’s previous home his owner said he really enjoyed sitting on their lap, being groomed and he was also really playful.

Oscar does get easily spooked when out exploring the cattery and will run back to his unit where he feels safe, so for this reason he would benefit from his own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a fully enclosed garden.

Oscar has had bad experiences with both cats and dogs in the past so needs to be an only pet. Due to his nervous nature to sudden movements and loud noises he would be best suited to an adult only home.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adoption fee: £80 If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Medical history:

Oscar is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. His second vaccination is due between 05/03/2024- 11/03/2024 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee.

Oscar has no known medical conditions.

4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Additional information:

Oscar cannot be homed in Havant.
