Name: Nero
Age: 6 months old
Sex: Male
Breed: Siberian Husky cross
Ref number: 105

Personality:
Nero is a lovely boy who has unfortunately been returned to us after being adopted last year as a puppy. Nero is a socialable boy who loves to be around people and play. He is a typical husky puppy with lots of energy and will need a dedicated family with lots of time and patience to offer him. Nero would thrive in a home with people around who are available to put time into training and helping him settle.

Behaviour:
Nero is a wonderful boy who loves to engage with his handlers and has great focus and drive to train. He is looking for a family who is experienced with large breed puppies and understands the time and dedication it involves in raising a puppy. He is a bright and inquisitive boy who would do best with an active family who enjoy going on long walks and are looking for an adventure buddy. We are currently working on loose lead training and he is doing really well. His family will need to be prepared to continue this, and other basic training at home. During the time he spent in his first home, we know that Nero can be vocal at times so will need someone who is willing to manage this and give Nero plenty of enrichment, walks and attention. He still has a lot of learning to do but with plenty of positive experiences, Nero will make a fantastic companion to the right family.

Housing:
Nero loves to be around people and is an affectionate boy who enjoys curling up next to you. Due to his age, we are looking for a family who are around all day initially to help him settle into his new routine. He will need his own garden to exercise off lead in.

Children/pets:
Due to Nero’s size and young age, he can be homed with children 13 years or over. He cannot live around other cats or dogs. Even though Nero needs to be the only dog in the home, he would enjoy having doggy friends to walk and play with outside.

Vet history:
Nero has no known medical conditions and will need to be returned to the shelter for his castration once old enough. He is fully vaccinated, flea and wormed.

appreciated.
