Personality:
Nellie is an affectionate girl who looks forward to spending time with staff and volunteers. She is interested in seeing her surroundings so likes time on the cattery floor. Sometimes she can be a little shy so she needs some reassurance.
Behaviour:
Nellie has days where she enjoys being curled up on someone’s lap and other days where she likes to burn her energy off and explore. She likes to spend most her time in her outside run watching or playing with her toys and will have a nap in her carrier.
Housing:
Nellie does get easily spooked in the cattery and will return to her carrier where she feels safe, so for this reason she would benefit from her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a fully enclosed private garden. Nellie cannot be rehomed in Portsmouth Po5 area.
Children/pets:
Nellie could live with children 10+ as she can be a little shy and can get overstimulated at times. Nellie needs to be an only pet as she has shown a strong dislike to other cats and dogs.
Vet history:
Nellie is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Nellie is currently being weaned off some medication so a plan can be given to continue this in her new home until she has finished her taper. Nellie has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
