Name: Mowgli
Age: 2 years 8 months approx
Sex: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Ref number: 46
Personality:
Mowgli is a gentle loving boy. He is often eager for some strokes and will meow when he wants attention. Mowgli can be a little nervous at times so food is an initial good way to make friends with him and once he trusts you, he will constantly roll over for more fuss.
Behaviour:
Mowgli enjoys being around people so he will come over to greet you and rub against your legs wanting fuss. Eventually he will lay down nearby you in the fresh air and sun. Mowgli enjoys chasing after stick toys and playing with his soft toys and plastic balls in his run. He likes to rest on his cardboard scratching post watching the daily routine of the cattery in the distance.
Housing:
Mowgli does get easily spooked in the cattery and will return to his carrier where he feels safe, so for this reason he would benefit from his own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually access to a garden. Mowgli cannot be rehomed in Basingstoke RG25 area.
Children/pets:
Mowgli could live with children 12+ as he is very noise sensitive so he would prefer a more relaxed home environment. Mowgli has shown a interest in other cats so he would love to live with another cat after a slow introduction. Mowgli cannot live with dogs as he can be easily frightened by sounds.
Vet history:
Mowgli is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Mowgli had Chronic diarrhoea when he came in to us but since starting him on steroids and being fed a vet prescribed Anallergenic or Hypoallergenic diet this has helped minimise any flare ups and he is now solid. Flare ups may happen in times of stress but can be managed. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
