Name: Misty, Boris, Maisie and Basil
Age: approx 2 years, 2 years, 1 year, 5 years
Sex: 2 x females, 2 x males
Breed: Persians
Ref number: 1, 3, 4 & 5

Personality:
These four are an absolute bundle of fun and will make a great addition to their very lucky owners. They came into us in very poor condition from a multi cat household; at first they were absolutely petrified, all four choosing to spend their time squashed in one carrier together. Over time they have absolutely flourished and are a delight to spend time with, a firm staff and volunteers favourite.

Behaviour:
You will quite often find all four having a snooze in their unit together, Basil has his favourite bed he likes to sleep in, while the others rotate where they like to nap. They equally enjoy spending time out of their unit, exploring the cattery floor, playing with a variety of toys, being groomed and they all love being fussed. Their new owners will be very lucky to have such beautiful cats.

Housing:
Misty, Boris, Maisie and Basil would benefit from having a large quiet room to initially settle in. We don’t think it’ll be too long before they will be wanting to explore the rest of their home and eventually a fully enclosed private garden. They cannot be homed in the Chandlers Ford.

Children/pets:
Misty, Boris, Maisie and Basil could possibly live with another cat and children aged 10+ who will give them space and allow them to settle. As they’re typical Persians, they will need a calm home with a good routine.

Vet history:
Misty, Boris, Maisie and Basil are neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Being Persians, it would be beneficial for their new owners to have experience with the breed and understand their medical needs, although this is not essential. They will need regular grooming. Misty, Boris and Maisie have low grade heart murmurs. They have all had some soft faeces while in our care so may suffer with IBD, they appear to be better on a hypoallergenic dry food so it would be beneficial for them to continue this in their new home. Under your vets recommendation they may be able to be weaned off of this once fully settled, but they might have to remain on this long term. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

As all four Persians are incredibly bonded we would love them to be rehomed together. Their adoption fee is £260. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cats.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
