Name: Minnie
Age: 8-9 months old
Sex: Female
Breed: Whippet/Lurcher x
Ref number: 143
Personality:
Our sweet girl Minnie didn’t arrive with us in the best condition. She was underweight and and had severe alopecia. Despite all of this Minnie is a friendly girl who loves everyone she meets. She has now made a full recovery and is ready to find her forever home! This girl is a little ball of energetic fun and will make a great addition to her new family.
Behaviour:
Minnie has been fortunate enough to spend her time in a foster home where we have gotten to know her better. She is a playful sweet puppy, That also loves to snooze next to her favourite person, Like most sighthounds Minnie does have a high prey drive and can pull towards wildlife and cats!
Housing:
Minnie cannot be rehomed to the Horsham area, She will need access to a private and secure garden with 6ft fencing, and ideally no visiting cats. In the foster home Minnie has been left for up to 2-3 hours. but this will need to be reintroduced gradually in a new home.
Children/pets:
Minnie needs to live with another dog pending successful meets here at the centre however she would not be suitable for a home with a cat or small animals due to her prey drive. She could live with children of secondary school age who have been around high energy dogs before.
Vet history:
Minnie is up to date with her flea, worming and vaccinations but will need to return to the centre to be spayed, once she has settled into her new home.
