Personality:
Millie hasn’t been with us long but she is already showing us what an affectionate girl she is, who loves her cuddles, and spending time on someone’s lap.
Behaviour:
Millie is a sweet girl, who is looking for a family that will help support her with her separation anxiety. She struggles to settle when left alone and can be vocal, so will need someone home all the time initially to then gradually work up to being left. Our behaviour team will provide advice on how to slowly introduce her to being left for longer periods. Millie will make a really lovely companion for someone who wants a friend for life.
Housing:
Millie would benefit from a home with a secure garden for her to explore. Cannot be rehomed to the Horsham area.
Children/pets:
Millie can live with children of primary school age and above, who are used to living with dogs, interactions must be supervised at all times. Although she could have dog friends outside the home we are looking for a home with no other dogs for her. Millie could live with a dog savvy cat.
Vet history:
Millie has no on-going health conditions and has been flea/wormed and vaccinated. She will need to be returned to the shelter for her spay, once she has settled in her new home.
