Rehoming – Profile

History:

Maisie was signed over to us due to a change in circumstances through no fault of her own.

Behaviour observations on site:

Magical Maisie is a playful, affectionate, and energetic girl. She is always enthusiastic about getting out for walks and play time. She loves a run around in a secure space and enjoys playing with people, particularly a game of fetch. She loves to have cuddles and will be on your lap given half a chance.

Maisie likes making new friends and really enjoys the company of people. She is looking for a home where her new family can provide her with lots of exercise and mental stimulation due to her being a high energy dog. She is learning to greet people calmly and walk on a loose lead, her new owners will need to continue to practise this with her. Maisie is in good health; she loves her food which is very helpful for reward-based training.

Maisie should be the only dog living in the household, but she could have dog friends out of the house. Maisie generally ignores other dogs from a distance, but she may get excited and bark when close/greeting them.

She likes to get out for walks first thing, but once she’s had her walk she will settle and is generally calm in the kennel throughout the day. It could be beneficial for her new family to stick to a similar routine in the home and provide her with a cosy place to sleep/settle throughout the day. Maisie is such a sweet and loving girl and would make an amazing addition to a family that are able to provide her lots of exercise and cuddles.

Adoption fee: £180 If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Medical history:

Maisie is spayed, vaccinated and up to date with flea and worm treatment.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
