Marmite

Name: Marmite

Age: 6 years

Sex: Female

Breed: Bull Terrier

Ref number: 26

Personality:
Marmite is a wonderful girl who, despite her age, still has a lot of energy and personality! She loves her people and curling up on a soft bed for a cuddle and a nap. That being said she always has some energy left over to charge around with her favourite toys and you can often find her on a mission when out on her walks!

Behaviour:
Marmite is a friendly girl when it comes to other dogs but is still learning to be polite when greeting and walking past so any potential adopters will need to be prepared to work on this and she may benefit from some training classes. She can sometimes have a bit of a prey drive so may chase wildlife when out on walks!

Housing:
Cannot be rehomed to the SP10 area. Marmite could potentially be left for a couple of hours however she will need to build back up to this gradually as she settles back into living in a home. She will need access to a private and secure garden.

Children/pets:
Due to her energy and playfulness Marmite will need a home with secondary school age children who have been around playful dogs before. Marmite also would not be suitable living with cats or small animals due to her prey drive and whilst she can’t live with dogs she could definitely have some dog friends to socialise with!

Vet history:
Marmite is up to date with flea, worming and vaccinations. She will need to return to site at a later date to be neutered.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £220. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
