Personality:
Mario has come in from a busy household and has taken a while to settle in the cattery environment, now that he has, he is showing what a sweet boy he is. He has come on in leaps and bounds recently, he is an absolute sweetheart who is now ready to find his forever home.
Behaviour:
Once Mario feels relaxed with you he doesn’t want you to leave his side! He adores being stroked and is constantly paddy pawing and purring, he will even give you a headbutt if you stop giving him the attention he craves. Mario is growing in confidence daily but still needs the safety of his unit. He hasn’t shown much interest in playing with toys yet but we think once he’s settled in his new home he will show a playful side.
Housing:
Mario does prefer the safety of his unit and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason he will need his own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. He cannot be homed in the Gosport PO13 area.
Children/pets:
Mario needs to be an only pet and can live with older aged secondary school children.
Vet history:
Mario is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Mario has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption. Mario has been on some medication to help him relax whilst in our care. He is currently being weaned off of this. If he is still on this when he goes to his new home it will be provided so the weaning off course can be completed.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
