Maisie and Clara

Name: Maisie and Clara

Age: 4 months approx

Sex: Female x2

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 113,114

Personality:
Maisie and Clara were lucky enough to be in a foster home temporarily and have become a lovely pair of kittens. Since being back in our care they have gained lots of confidence and are into everything. They like to have lots of fun and can keep themselves and volunteers entertained for hours.

Behaviour:
Maisie and Clara are full of energy and are always looking forward to getting out on the cattery floor for a good run around. They especially enjoy chasing each other through the tunnels but will also be entertained by the stick toys. They are very affectionate girls and will purr away when getting strokes. Clara often comes back for check ins when out exploring on the floor. Maisie is often so occupied and keeps herself busy until she’s ready for a rest so she is more cuddly when they are in their unit and haven’t got so many distractions.

Housing:
Maisie and Clara will need a home with outside access to a garden. They cannot be homed in Gosport po12 area.

Maisie and Clara are available as a pair only. You must be able to meet at the shelter within 48 hours of your application.

Children/pets:
Maisie and Clara can be housed with all aged children. Whilst we believe these kittens to be happy around young children, they should be supervised at all times. They could possibly live with a dog/cat after a slow introduction and is used to having cats around with high energy levels.

Vet history:
Maisie and Clara are neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Maisie has no known medical conditions. Clara has an undershoot jaw which has caused malalignment of the caudal teeth. This will need to be monitored and she may require her lower permanent canine/canines to be extracted in the future if they continue to contact the upper gum. At the moment we are unsure whether that will be the case or whether they will develop/grow with no further issues.  4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £175. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
