Loki

Name: Loki

Age: 2 years

Sex: Male

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 100

Personality:
Loki is a gentle loving boy. He looks forward to having human company and comes over to greet you once he sees you. In the short time that he has been in our care, he has gained the confidence to start exploring his unit during the day but is still a little unsure of the surrounding noises.

Behaviour:
Loki is such an affectionate boy who cant get enough of the fuss. He comes over when spoken to and nudges your hand to initiate for strokes. As he is so eager for the fuss, he struggles to keep himself still and will roll over, rub against your legs and is beginning to jump onto laps. Once he starts to tire himself out, he will lay on top of his hide, purring away enjoying the attention. Although he has shown some interest in toys, he has not engaged with them so this may come with time in a home environment.

Housing:
Loki does prefer the safety of his unit and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason he would benefit from his own unused room to initially settle in for the first few days before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. He cannot be rehomed in Portsmouth PO6 area.

Children/pets:
Loki can be rehomed with an older primary school aged child who will be calm around him. Whilst we believe him to be happy around young children, they should be supervised at all times. He cannot be rehomed with other cats or dogs.

Vet history:
Loki is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. His second vaccination is due between 22/07/25 – 28/07/25 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. Loki has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £100. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.
