Lilly

Name: Lilly

Age: 1 year old

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 169

Personality:
Lily is very much loved by staff and volunteers. She is an affectionate girl who is always keen for company. She is confident meeting new people however sometimes she finds background sounds a little frightening and likes to have some safety.

Behaviour:
Lily is very friendly and always comes over to greet people as they enter her unit. She often will climb onto your lap for a cuddle and make herself all cozy whilst purring away. She has a playful side where she will enjoy playing with her feather stick toys. She is also known for being a catnip lover so she keeps busy rolling around in it.

Housing:
Lilly does get easily spooked when out exploring the cattery floor and will run back to her unit where she feels safe, so for this reason she would benefit from her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. She cannot be homed in Southampton (PO4 area)

Children/pets:
Lily can be rehomed with secondary school aged children who will let her settle into her new home environment. She cannot live with other cats or dogs as she has shown a dislike whilst in our care.

Vet history:
Lily is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated.

Lilly has had a reaction to something she licked on her skin that caused ulcers on her tongue. These are healing well. As a result we did run some tests which showed she had a very low presence of calicivirus, a form of common cat flu. As we believe we have identified the cause of Lilly’s ulcers and she is showing no other clinical signs, we believe the result to be clinically insignificant.

4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £80. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
