Name: Lilly
Age: 2 years
Sex: Female
Breed: Jack Russell Terrier
Ref number: 3
Personality:
Lilly is a super energetic little girl who loves chasing balls and playing with her toys. Lilly can be nervous around new people, but she does make friends quickly. She loves human company with her trusted people.
Behaviour:
Lilly can be nervous when out and about which displays itself as vocalization around other dogs and unfamiliar environments. She does have a high prey drive and will chase cats and wildlife. We have limited information about how Lilly is in a home so we are looking for someone who will take things slow and support her while she is settling in. She may be a little terrier but she has a big personality.
Housing:
We are looking for a quieter home with an owner who will support Lilly whilst she is settling in. Lilly loves exercise and toy play therefore she would benefit from a private garden.
Children/pets:
Lilly cannot live with other animals due to her high prey drive. Because we have limited information about Lilly’s past we are looking for a home without children. We do not know how she will cope with being left on her own however we do think that she could learn to be left, if this is built up gradually.
Vet history:
Lilly is up to date with her vaccinations and flea and worm treatment. She will also need to return to the shelter for her neutering.
Lilly has been suffering with skin issues since being with us. We have been managing her skin with a specialised hypoallergenic diet alongside veterinary medications. We hope to wean her off the medications in time.
