Levi

Name: Levi

Age: 5 years approx

Sex: Male

Breed: DSH

Ref number: 38

Personality:
Levi came into us as a stray and he is now desperate to get back into the outside world again where he can explore plenty of land and come and go to an outbuilding as he pleases.  Levi has shown to us that he is not a pet cat but wants to able to live an outdoor lifestyle but he will still need human support, mainly to feed him!

Behaviour:
Levi is a clever boy who has quickly adapted to a good routine used in the cattery environment when feeding and cleaning him to ensure he doesn’t feel the need to use aggression to drive people away. We use a hands off approach with him.  He has built up trust with a few selected members of staff, who he is relaxed enough to sit with at distance, slow blink and have a chat with, he can be quite a vocal boy.  Levi is a very intelligent boy who enjoys his meals in different activity feeders to keep his brain ticking and reduce boredom while he waits for his dream of a place he can call home.

Housing:
Levi will need an outbuilding he can initially settle in before being able to explore plenty of land at his pleasure. He cannot be homed in the Bitterne area of Southampton. Support will be provided by our behaviourist to ensure you have the correct set up for Levi and to help with his planned release back into the outside world.

Children/pets:
Levi can live around children of all ages as long as they’re are supervised, know he is not to be touched and he has plenty of space to retreat to. He can live alongside other animals if there is plenty of space to reduce the chance of confrontation.

Vet history:
Levi is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed, fully vaccinated and FIV/FELV negative.  Levi came in with a poorly eye which has now resolved. He has no known medical conditions.  4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £80. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
