Rehoming – Profile
Unfortunately, Lesley was a stray, so we have no history for her. Diego came from a multi-rabbit household that couldn’t cope.
Behaviour observations on site:
Romance has struck yet again at The Ark for this unique pair of rabbits! Meet Lesley the beautiful Dwarf X and Diego the charming Lop, don’t they look ever so sweet together?! Finding love and companionship has turned Lesley’s world to be so much brighter and bigger, previously she was a shy girl who preferred to keep her distance from her human carers. Since falling for Diego, confidence is her new middle name! We’ve seen such an improvement in Lesley, from hiding away to now greeting us in the morning for breakfast. She may be small, but Lesley has proven that she can achieve and dream big! All they need now is a home that will love them as much as they love each other … and unlimited amounts of hay!
Diego on the other hand, arrived quite calm and collected! Eager to receive some well-deserved attention. Himself and Lesley have many things in common, their love for a good pile of veggies to share and their dislike of being handled. Therefore, they would much prefer to receive some gentle strokes from their new family, whilst they settle in. Life has only just begun for this Mr & Mrs; their new reality is just on the horizon and Lesley especially has waited ever so long for a happy furever after. Could you be the one/s to whisk them away to their perfect home?
Lesley and Diego can either be indoor or outdoor bunnies; they will need a rabbit-proof room or a large shed with a run permanently attached (see photo above for an example).
If you are interested in adopting Lesley and Diego, please fill out an application form below. To help speed up the adoption process, please forward us photos of your setup.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the rabbits.
Both Lesley and Diego are neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and have had their teeth checked. They currently have no medical issues.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
