Personality:
Leon is a talkative boy who can often be heard chatting away to himself when no one’s around. This beautiful budgie came in as a stray so we don’t know his history. He would love to find some budgie friends to spend his days with. Leon loves a bit of millet and enjoys the fresh air in his current outside aviary.
Behaviour:
Leon can be a little unsure around people he doesn’t know so may need a little bit of patience initially.He can also be a little bit sensitive around loud noises and sudden movements so will need time to settle into his new environment.
Housing:
He would need a large outdoor aviary and to be housed with other budgies. Sizes can be discussed with staff.
Children/pets:
He can be housed around other animals but must be kept separate. He can live around all aged children but we would advise that children must be supervised if interacting with the birds especially younger children.
Vet history:
Leon has no health concerns.

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the budgie.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
