Personality:
Larry is a sweet affectionate boy who loves to have human company. He’s a chilled boy and is friendly to everyone. He likes to make himself comfy in his warm bed while he patiently waits for his turn on the cattery floor.
Behaviour:
Larry enjoys being able to spend time with staff and volunteers and he will happily settle next to you having some gentle strokes and will especially enjoy some head scratches. Larry will occasionally have a playful moment whilst he is out on the cattery floor and he does like a good roll around in some catnip.
Housing:
Larry will need a home with outside access to a fully enclosed private garden. He cannot be homed in Southampton SO16 area.
Children/pets:
Larry could live with children 8+. He cannot live with a dog as he was fearful seeing dogs at the shelter. He could live with another cat after a slow introduction.
Vet history:
Larry is neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. Once Larry is off of his steroids, he will be need two vaccinations at the shelter which will be 3 weeks apart and included in the cost of the adoption fee. Larry has no known medical conditions. Larry came into our care with a sore patch on his leg which he has recently had removed. Larry has been on some medication to help this heal and a plan will be given on how to gradually wean him off this. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
