Personality:
Jade is such a sweet sensitive little girl. She really struggled in the cattery environment choosing to spend the day in her carrier but was much more active when we had gone home. We have since put her in a foster home and she has thrived, she’s a completely different cat.
Behaviour:
Instead of hiding away, Jade is now happy to be exploring her temporary home. She will actively come downstairs to sit with her foster mum whilst purring, loves being stroked and brushed and has even started to play with toys. It’s lovely to see such a change in her.
Housing:
Jade will need a home with outside access to a garden. She cannot be homed in the Portsmouth PO6 area.
Children/pets:
As Jade is in her twilight years she would love to be the only pet in a calm and quiet adult only home.
Vet history:
Jade is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. It is possible Jade has the start of early kidney disease. It would be beneficial for her to either be on renal food or a supplement to help. At the moment she will not eat any of these so we are feeding her good quality senior cat food. Once settled in her forever home it would be worth trying these to see if she will eat them to provide her with some renal support. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
