Guinea Pig Success Stories

We have lots of guinea pigs that come and go from the Ark and we wanted to dedicate a page for the guinea pigs that have found a loving forever home!

Davy Jones

Davy Jones came in to the Ark when he was found in a cardboard box with two other guinea pigs.

Unfortunately none of these piggies got on and had lots of bite wounds and sores where they had been left stuck together.

Davy Jones was treated for all his wounds and loved by all the staff. He was with us for 17 weeks before he found his happily ever after with a amazing lady called Anna and her lovely family. What a lucky boy!

Davy Jones (now known as Buzz), is living his best life being the only male in a group of females who he now calls his family.

Thank you to Anna and her family for giving him a new life.

Grape & Kiwi

Grape and Kiwi were born here at the Ark with two other sisters Mango and Berry. Grape, being the smallest of the litter, never let that stop him and formed a strong bond with his brother and all the staff at the Ark.

They spent the first few months of their lives out on foster with their mum until they were big enough to move out of home together. Once their two sisters were adopted out together, Megan, a member of staff, fell in love with the two brothers and adopted them herself after them being at the Ark for a while.

It’s such a pleasure to see them grow bigger and have their happy ending with Megan.

Peaches & Connor

Peaches came in to us in a box very pregnant with sore feet and ready to pop! She then went out with her 4 babies (Grape, Kiwi, Mango and Berry) on foster with Casey, a member of staff.

Once all the babies were grown up Peaches came back to the Ark and fell in love with a rex guinea pig, Connor-Bob.

Connor came in to the Ark after being a part of a house with multiple piggies, only used for breeding, with some anxiety issues.

Once the pair were bonded and decided it was love at first sight they were ready to start their new lives together.

Casey couldn’t get over how much she missed having Peaches at home and fell in love with them as a pair after working with them every day.

After Casey adopted both piggies they have found their feet in their forever home and are spending each day running the house and being spoilt.
