Gracie

Name: Gracie

Age: 12 years

Sex: Female

Breed: DSLH

Ref number: 85

Personality:
When Gracie first came into us she was in an awful condition, she was suffering with flea anaemia; we had never seen a cat covered in so many fleas, we weren’t sure she was going to make it through the night. Early on it was touch and go but she has shown what a little fighter she is and throughout her journey everyone has fallen in love with her.

Behaviour:
Gracie is the sweetest girl. She loves getting time out of her unit so she can stretch her legs and explore the cattery floor. She is a very affectionate girl who enjoys being stroked and will even curl up on your lap for a cuddle. She can be quite vocal at times, especially if you’re not giving her the attention she rightly deserves! She’s also incredibly foody, if you’ve got some in your hands she will be rubbing around your legs so can be a little bit of a trip hazard.

Housing:
Gracie will need a home with outside access to a garden. She cannot be homed in Stubbington.

Children/pets:
Gracie would prefer to be an only pet so she can be centre of attention. She can live with sensible children aged 8+ who will be gentle with her as she’s on older girl.

Vet history:
Gracie is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Gracie possibly has early kidney disease so it would be recommended that Gracie has a renal diet to support her. She has been on a trial of gabapentin as she became reluctant to come out of her unit and be socialised, she is much happier on this as she my have early signs of arthritis. 4 weeks of Gabapentin will be provided to her adopters.   4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £80. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
