Name: Gina
Age: 12 weeks
Sex: Female
Breed: Bull breed mix
Ref number: 14

Personality:
Let us introduce you our beautiful Gina. She has not had the best start to life and found herself with us at only a few months old with her litter mates. Gina is confident to try new things and we have been gradually exposing her to things here at the centre. She has had time being socialised with people and has also been on some in arm (or in pram!) walks but her experience of the world is pretty limited at the moment. Like all puppies, Gina is playful and affectionate, but of course, is a little mouthy and likes to chew on things and fingers too. Gina will need dedicated owners who are prepared to put in the time and effort it takes when raising a puppy. Adopters should enrol their puppy in training classes to help them start off on the right paw.
Please do not apply for this puppy if you are not in a position to adopt immediately.

Behaviour:
Gina is a sweet and playful girl and loves to play with toys and her siblings. At times Gina likes to take herself off and explore
on her own away from the chaos of her siblings and loves a lap to snuggle on. Gina is very much in her teething and mouth exploring time so encouragement onto toys will be crucial.

Housing:
Gina will not be able to be left alone at all initially, she will need someone home with her at all times and will need a gradual
exposure to being left alone. She will need access to a private, secure garden. She will need her adopters to be willing to puppy proof their home to set her up for success possibly even restricting access to certain areas with things like baby gates.

Children/pets:
Gina can live with secondary school aged children, cats and dogs (subject to successful meets at the centre). Please
consider before applying if your existing animals will be happy to welcome a bouncy puppy into their home. Adopters must have the ability and be willing to separate Gina from other animals and children and to introduce them gradually, and guide children how to behave around a puppy.

Vet history:
While here Gina has had what we suspect to have been kennel cough, she is well now but may still cough occasionally,
details will be provided to the adopters. They are also currently fed puppy gastro which we hope to wean them off soon but any new home may need to order this food in initially. Gina is up to date with Flea and Worming treatment. She has had her first vaccination and will need to return to the shelter for her 2nd vaccination and neutering at the appropriate age.

Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
