Personality:
George is a lovely affectionate boy. Typical of his spaniel nature, he is high energy and loves using his nose. George is looking for an active home with adopters who can dedicate time to his training.
Behaviour:
George is excited to greet people, he enjoys a belly rub. On a walk George is still learning about the world and can get overwhelmed quickly and vocalise. New experiences will need to be spaced out and taken at George’s pace. George can be strong on lead he is doing well with his training here at the centre, and this will need to be continued in the home. George is a typical energetic spaniel who loves to explore using his nose, he would benefit from training classes or someone interested in activities such as scent work or gundog training.
Housing:
George will need someone at home for the majority of the day whilst he gets used to being left on his own. He cannot be rehomed to the Gosport area.
Children/pets:
George needs to be the only dog in the household, he can live with secondary aged children who are use to high energy dogs.
Vet history:
George is neutered and had flea and worming treatment.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
