Name: Felix
Age: 9 years
Sex: Male
Breed: Domestic Short Hair
Ref number: 92

Personality:
Felix come into our care after his owner sadly passed away. He struggled with the cattery environment and footage from our cameras has shown that he was vocal overnight at the front of his unit, missing the outdoor world. He spent most of his time hiding away until he felt safe to come out once staff had gone home. He is now in a lovely foster home where he has his own room which he can relax without the day to day disruptions in the cattery.

Behaviour:
Felix feels more comfortable in his foster home to access the resources provided and explore his own space when it is quiet. He is in a predictable environment where his foster carer is hands off, allowing him to have choice and control with human interaction and his surroundings. Currently, he is still hiding when his foster carer is around and does not want to be touched so his new owners will need to be respectful and understanding of his boundaries and only if he initiates, should interaction occur. Felix does spend a lot of time sat on the window ledge and is craving the opportunity to explore the outside world again.

Housing:
Felix is looking for either his own room in a quite home with understanding owners who will give him space and allow him to determine whether he wants to be inside or outside; or an outbuilding/shed/summer house to call his own with the option to come into the home if he chooses too. Felix cannot be homed in Winchester (SO32 area).

Children/pets:
Felix will need to be the only pet in an adult only environment.

Vet history:
Felix is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. He has no known medical conditions.
4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
