Personality:
Elsa is a beautiful young lady who came to us through no fault of her own. Whilst she is a playful girl who loves her toys her inquisitive nature means you may sometimes find her with something she shouldn’t have!
Behaviour:
Elsa generally enjoys a cuddle and fuss but can be a little shy at times. She appreciates breaks often but will let you know when she wants more affection as she is not afraid to try and jump on your lap! She loves her walks but can be very eager to follow a good scent along with a high prey drive that will occasionally have her pulling after wildlife or cats. She would benefit from owners with Husky experience who know what to expect from this breed.
Housing:
Like a typical Husky, Elsa can be an escape artist at times and so will need a secure garden with high fencing around 8ft as she will be up and over if given half the chance! Although we don’t know exactly what Elsa was like in her previous home during her time at the Ark we have seen Elsa is eager to jump and climb onto most surfaces so any future adopter will need to be prepared to secure their home. Elsa is a beautiful girl with an adventurous nature who will thrive in an active home.
Children/pets:
Elsa has a high prey drive and for this reason is unable to live with cats or small animals. Elsa could live with other dogs, pending successful meetings at the shelter. Elsa will need to live in an adult only home as we have noticed she is worried around small children.
Vet history:
Elsa has no ongoing conditions but is not spayed and so will need to come back after adoption to have this done. She is up to date on flea, worming and vaccinations.
