Dylan

Name: Dylan

Age: Adult

Sex: Male

Breed: Guinea Pig

Ref number: 5

Personality:
Dylan is a reserved boy who is in search of a female friend or group to bring him out of shell. He is looking for a calm and quiet home where he can spend his days relaxing and eating hay.

Behaviour:
Due to his nervousness, Dylan is looking for a family that will take a slow approach to built trust and help his confidence grow. Dylan originally arrived with another male but they had to be separated due to fighting. Dylan will require at least one meeting where staff can discuss his requirements, and answer any questions about the bonding. If applicable, children will need to be included on a meet, due to his current nervous nature.

Housing:
Our minimum housing size for two guinea pigs is 6ftx2ft. This could either be an indoor C&C pen or a large outdoor shed. Housing can be discussed with staff, but we do not rehome to hutches.

Children/pets:
Dylan can live around other pets, but must be kept separately. He can also live with children of primary school age (5-11 years), but young children must have adult supervision if interacting/handling the guinea pigs.

Vet history:
Dylan is castrated and has no other health concerns.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £25. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the guinea pig.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
