Personality:
Doug is a gentle, quiet and friendly boy who thrives on human company. He is a joy to walk and after exercise he will happily laze around.
Behaviour:
Doug is an ex-racing greyhound and so has a high prey drive, he is fully muzzle trained and used to wearing one when out on his walks here at the centre. We highly recommend he wears his muzzle when out on walks
Housing:
He would benefit from a large secure garden with no visiting cats. Doug would suit a fairly quiet home. He could be left 2-3 hours. Cannot be rehomed in the Birmingham area.
Children/pets:
Due to his prey drive Doug cannot be homed with cats or any small animals. Doug could live with another sighthound pending successful meets at the centre .He could live with secondary school age children
Vet history:
Doug has no existing conditions and is neutered, vaccinated and up to date on flea and worming.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
