Dotty

Name: Dotty

Age: 7 years approx

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 45

Personality:
Dotty has been a confident girl since coming into our care and likes to be in charge when it comes to the surroundings of her outside run area. She is an affectionate girl who will often meow when greeted and now she has settled into our care, she is beginning to enjoy being on staff and volunteers laps having a little snooze.

Behaviour:
Dotty chose her outside run as her safe space since coming into our care and has liked resting on top of her carrier where she can watch what’s going on. As Dotty likes to be in charge, she prefers to be stroked on her terms and when she initiates for fuss. She enjoys rubbing around your legs and sitting in her pop up cat tent.

Housing:
Dotty can be a little nervous around loud noises or new surroundings so for this reason she would benefit from her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a fully enclosed private garden. She cannot be homed in Stubbington PO14 area.

Children/pets:
As Dotty can get a little overstimulated at times, she can live with children 13+ who will understand when Dotty needs space. Since being in our care Dotty has shown a strong dislike to other cats and dogs so therefore she will need to be the only pet in the household.

Vet history:
Dotty is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Dotty does suffer with arteritis so is currently on pain relief for this. Once settled in her home, your vet will be able to help get Dotty on the lowest dose possible to keep her pain free, or may suggest alternative pain relief options.  4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £80. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
