Rehoming – Profile

History:

Darwin came into our care as his owner could no longer look after him.

Behaviour observations on site:

Darwin is such a handsome boy. He can be a bit shy to start with and might give you a little hiss but he doesn’t mean it. Once he gets to know you he’s an absolute sweetheart who craves human interaction. He loves being stroked, especially down his back and will stick his bum up in the air. Sometimes he does get a little panicky and will swipe out but is very quickly wanting to be fussed again, we think this is because he’s wasn’t used to being handled in his previous home.

Darwin has not had any previous experience with other animals and would be best suited as an only pet.

Darwin does get easily spoked by loud noises and sudden movements but can live with children aged 12+ who will be calm and gentle around him.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

 Medical history:

No medical issues known.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

 Additional information:

Darwin cannot be homed in Portsmouth and his adoption fee is a minimum donation of £80.
