Chilli

Name: Chilli

Age: Adult

Sex: Female

Breed: Siberian Husky

Ref number: 103

Personality:
Beautiful Chilli is an absolute angel, she is friendly, affectionate and playful and loves to run so will need an active home. You may
recognise her from our Christmas video and she has been a star for various recent filming sessions and made lots of friends here at the
centre and nothing seems to phase her. Sadly she came into us severely underweight but she has gained weight, is getting stronger and is now ready to find her forever home.

Behaviour:
Chilli is very well rounded and likes people and other dogs, she may get excited and try to pull towards dogs so will need to learn she can’t always say hello. She has recently become worried about wearing her harness so we are slowly desensitising her to this which will need to be continued in the home at her pace.

Housing:
Chilli is still on a weight gain plan and eats 5 small meals per day. As she continues to gain strength she can increase her exercise and will need a very active home who can provide her with opportunities to run daily, but this will need to be built up slowly. She will need a private garden with 6 ft fencing. She will need someone to be home most of the time to begin with but once settled could learn to be left for short periods. She cannot be rehomed to the RH12 area.

Children/pets:
Chilli could live with Children over 10 years who are used to big active dogs, she could live with other dogs subject to successful meets at the centre, she cannot live with cats or small animals.

Vet history:
Chilli is fully vaccinated and up to date with flea and worming treatment. She will need to be spayed here at the centre when she has gained enough weight. She must not be fed too much at once while she is still underweight, staff can provide advice on her diet.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £180. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
