Rehoming – Profile

History:

Chi came into our care because his owner died.

Behaviour observations on site:

Handsome Chi has a lot of energy to burn off so is looking for a rural home where he can spend plenty of time exploring and return as and when he wishes.

Chi finds the confinements of the cattery environment really stressful and is always looking for a way to get out and explore the outside world again. We know, in his previous home Chi was much more relaxed. He would have some down time to chill and would happily spend time with his owner. We hope Chi will be back to the loving boy he used to be once settled in his new home and out of the cattery environment.

Chi is an incredibly clever boy so we give him lots of different enrichment throughout the day to keep him stimulated and his brain ticking. When Chi is relaxing he enjoys some gentle cheek tickles from the staff.

He needs to be the only pet in a predictable adult only home. Chi needs to homed in a low cat populated area as he has a very strong dislike to other cats.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adoption fee: £80 If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Medical history:

Chi is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated.

Chi has no known medical conditions. He has been on some medication to help him relax while in our care. This will be provided for his new home and a plan will be given on how to gradually wean him off of this. Three months post adoption behaviour support will be provided.

4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Additional information:

Chi cannot be homed in Winchester.
