Name: Celia-Mae
Age: 2 years
Sex: Female
Breed: Jack Russell Terrier/Poodle
Ref number: 101
Personality:
Celia-Mae is a sweet-natured little terrier that has not had the best start to life. She came to us from a multi-dog household with her three newborn puppies. Where she had received little training or socialisation. Celia-Mae has been lucky enough to spend time in a foster home where she is building confidence everyday.
Behaviour:
Although Celia-Mae can be a little nervous, she warms up very quickly to people. She enjoys a gentle fuss and curls up on the sofa next to you. As Celia-Mae is still learning about the world and life without puppies, she is looking for a quiet home where her new family will allow her plenty of time to settle in. Celia-Mae is looking for a family who can be around most of the day and gradually (over the course of a few months) introduce her to being left for short periods of time.
Housing:
Celia-Mae is still learning to walk on lead so will need to be homed to a quiet location, with a private garden so she can explore and build her confidence in her own time.
Children/pets:
Celia-Mae cannot live with other dogs or other animals. Celia-Mae needs a quiet home but could live with secondary age children.
Vet history:
Celia-Mae is up to date with flea, worming and vaccinations. She will need to be returned to the shelter for her second vaccination and spay once she has settled. Celia-Mae has a luxating patella but is currently showing no clinical signs, staff can explain more to the successful applicant.
