Name: Casper
Age: 1 year
Sex: Male
Breed: American Bulldog
Ref number: 31

Personality:
Casper was previously a stray and so we have very little history on him but since his arrival at the ark he has been a bundle of fun and energy who has become a firm favourite amongst both staff and volunteers! He’s an intelligent young boy who’s been picking up his training here very quickly and building his confidence as he goes.

Behaviour:
Casper is still a young boy exploring the world and at times can be a little worried about new things but with help he quickly settles and gains his confidence. Potential adopters will ideally have previous experience or knowledge of bull breeds and be willing to continue training with Casper at training classes.

Housing:
We believe Casper could learn to be left but this will need to be built up and he will need someone around all day at first whilst he’s settling into his new home. Cannot be rehomed to the BN17 area.

Children/pets:
Casper could live with another dog of a similar energy as he can be quite playful at times but this would be pending successful meets here at the centre. He could live with secondary school age children who have been around playful dogs before.

Vet history:
Casper is up to date on flea, worming and vaccinations.

Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
