Personality:
Casey is a very sweet inquisitive boy who loves treats. When he isn’t enjoying his food he loves to sit on your lap and climb around his enclosure. He will let you know when he has had enough by moving away and having a nap on his personalized bed with his rainbow blanket.
Behaviour:
Casey enjoys the company of people but isn’t a fan of being picked up but he will come out on to your lap on his own. Chinchillas are a crepuscular rodent and are more active during dawn and dusk and can be found sleeping for most of the day. Being native to the rocky slopes of the Andes mountains they naturally sleep in rock crevices and small holes, therefore can be found sleeping in small tight spaces in their enclosures.
Housing:
Casey is looking for that perfect friend to cuddle up to, if you would be interested in bonding Casey with your current chinchilla please contact the centre for more information on this. Children/pets:
Can live with cats/dogs in a separate room. Age requirement of children is 10+ years. Research on the species is required.
Vet history:
Casey currently has no medical issues. He has had a teeth check and been castrated.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
