Personality:
Buddy is a friendly and affectionate boy. He settled well into the cattery and is very chilled back. Buddy can be a little noise sensitive so he is looking for a quieter home where he can find a cozy place to sleep and have a fuss.
Behaviour:
Buddy enjoys having gentle strokes from volunteers and is often quick to jump on their lap for a cuddle. Currently he likes to sleep in his covered bed on the heated floor and have some company whilst he rests. Sometimes Buddy will come out onto the cattery floor for a little stretch of his legs and a couple treats. Buddy enjoys doing some puzzle feeders but he isn’t always so keen on playing with toys.
Housing:
Buddy does get easily spooked when out exploring the cattery floor and will run back to his unit where he feels safe, so for this reason he would benefit from his own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. He cannot be homed in Gosport po12 area.
Children/pets:
Buddy could live with secondary school aged children who will be quiet and gentle around him. Buddy needs to be an only pet due to showing a dislike in our care.
Vet history:
Buddy is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Buddy has had a bilateral thyroidectomy whilst in our care. It is recommended that Buddy has a blood test in 6 months to check his thyroid levels. He is currently on no medications for this. Buddy has no other medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
