Name: Bucky
Age: 3 years
Sex: Male
Breed: French Bulldog
Ref number: 62

Personality:
Bucky is a sweet and friendly boy, who enjoys long walks and getting to explore with his nose. He is happy to greet new people and loves a cuddle. Bucky was signed over to us as unfortunately he was not happy sharing his home with a young child. Bucky is a laid back boy who is happy to chill next to you on the sofa.

Behaviour:
Bucky would make a fantastic walking companion, he may be small, but he loves a long walk through the forest, as he loves the shade it provides. We are searching for a family who have some experience with reactive dogs, or someone willing to learn all about it. Bucky can be unsure initially when on lead around other larger dogs, and this shows itself as Bucky barking. From our assessments, we know that Bucky can make friends with other smaller, female dogs, as after a brief introduction, Bucky is happy to walk alongside them. Bucky was previously only left for short periods but he did find this stressful, and would often toilet when left alone in the house. We are therefore looking for a family who can be around most of the day and gradually (over the course of a few months) introduce him to being on his own. Bucky has not had the best start to life so we are looking forward to him receiving lots of love and attention is his new home.

Housing:
Due to Bucky’s reactivity to other dogs he will need his own private garden with fencing of at least 5ft.

Children/pets:
Bucky is looking for a quiet home, He cannot live with other animals. Bucky will need a child free home but could cope with visiting children if supervised.

Vet history:
Bucky is fully vaccinated and up to date on his flea and worm treatment. He is castrated and has no on-going health issues.
