Boots

Name: Boots

Age: 3 years old

Sex: Female

Breed: Jack Russell Terrier

Ref number: 3

Personality:
Boots came to us due to no fault of her own and is a sweet and affectionate girl. She came in with her daughter Zippy and we will consider applications for them to be homed together or separately. She is an active little dog who will make an exciting new addition!

Behaviour:
Boots loves her human friends. She has also done really well at some training in our classes too! Boots walks well on a lead but has a high prey drive and will try to chase a cat or two if given the opportunity. She can be unsure around handling to start but once settled enjoys a cuddle and fuss. Her ideal family would be interested in training and invested in helping her find her feet as she can struggle around other dogs at times.

Housing:
Boots will need access to a private garden as she will look for any gap she could slip through so it must be secure. Cannot be rehomed to the PO13 area.

Children/pets:
Boots would need to be the only pet in the household. She has lived with children previously and whilst we believe she could live with primary school age children again, they will need to be supervised at all times.

Vet history:
Boots does not have any ongoing medical conditions and is up to date with vaccinations, flea and worming. She has not been neutered and so will need to come back for this when she is settled.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £220. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the dog.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal
