Personality:
Betty and Brenda are two inquisitive Gerbils who love to be kept busy foraging for food in their burrows, or sniffing out a tasty treat in a cardboard activity box! After fueling up for the day, they both love a good roll around in their sand bath.
Behaviour:
Betty and Brenda are equally curious girls! In a quiet and calm environment, they will confidently approach for interaction. They are naturally a bit wriggly, but are quite good to be handled when needed.
Housing:
Betty & Brenda are looking for a large glass tank enclosure, with a miniu sizing of 100cm x 50cm (the bigger the better!) with plenty of suitable bedding for burrowing. Accommodation types can be discussed with staff.
Children/pets:
They can live around other pets, but to be kept separate/in a different room and are to live with secondary aged children (11-18 years). We would also advise to have adult supervision, when younger children are interacting/handling with the Gerbils.
Vet history:
Betty and Brenda have no previous or current health concerns.
