Betty and Davey

Name: Betty & Davey

Age: 12 weeks

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Ref number: 13 & 14

Personality:
Betty and Davey came into our care from a multi cat household. They can be a little shy until they get to know you but are growing in confidence by the day.

Behaviour:
Betty and Davey have just started going out and exploring the catttery floor. They are a little cautious and will run back to the safety of their unit if something spooks them. They love to play together and really enjoy interacting with you with feather sticks.

Housing:
Betty and Davey do get easily spooked when out exploring the cattery floor and will run back to their unit where they feel safe, so for this reason they would benefit from their own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. They cannot be homed in So18 Southampton area.

Children/pets:
Betty and Davey could possibly live with secondary aged school children depending on how they react on meeting. They could potentially live with a calm dog used to having cats around or another cat that could cope with lively kittens.

Vet history:
Betty and Davey are neutered, microchipped, flea and wormed. Their second vaccination is due between 11/2/26-18/2/26 at the shelter and the cost is included in the adoption fee. They have had on off soft faeces throughout their time here so at the moment are on a gastro diet. Hopefully once they get away from the shelter environment this will resolve. We will supply this food for a few weeks along with another worming course which will need to start on the 17/2/26. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.

Adoption fee:
The adoption fee is £220. If you would like to make an additional donation over and above the adoption fee, this would be hugely appreciated.

Additional information:

All rented and leasehold properties will require written consent from the property owner or agent. This needs to be in place before completing an application form. If your application is successful, staff will request a copy.

We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the cat.

Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.

Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.

Please note you have to be 18+ to apply for an animal.
