Name: Betty
Age: 1 year approx
Sex: Female
Breed: Domestic Medium Hair
Ref number: 32

Personality:
Beautiful Betty came in to us in an awful state, she had lost lots of fur on the back half of her body and had a few sore patches, she’d been hanging around a car park for several weeks. Betty initially found the cattery environment really scary, you could see she wanted to make friends but was so fearful. With time and at a pace Betty felt comfortable with she has thrived and is now the most loving and affectionate little girl.

Behaviour:
Initially Betty would hiss or grumble at us as she didn’t know what our intentions were, now she comes out chirruping at us, especially if we’ve got some yummy food which is a great way to make friends with her. Betty absolutely loves being stroked and will often nudge your hand for more . She has the loudest purr and doesn’t stop paddy pawing when she’s really content, once she has gained your trust. She keeps looking at her toys but hasn’t quite worked out what to do with them yet but hopefully once settled in her new home she will start playing with them.

Housing:
Betty does prefer the safety of her carrier and finds new surroundings a little scary, so for this reason she will need her own unused room to initially settle in before exploring the rest of the property, and eventually a garden. She cannot be homed in Southampton (SO18 area).

Children/pets:
Betty needs to be an only pet and can live with older aged secondary school children. She needs a calm and quiet home as she can be a sensitive little girl: once settled she will make a lovely addition to her new family.

Vet history:
Betty is neutered, microchipped, flea, wormed and fully vaccinated. Betty has no known medical conditions. 4 weeks free pet insurance included with adoption.
