Name: Bert
Age: 4 Years, 2 Months
Sex: Male
Breed: Lionhead
Ref number: 7
Personality:
Bert is a very friendly boy who will come and greet you when you enter his unit. Bert’s favorite thing to do is to dig in his hay to find the best bit to munch on! When he’s not digging away, you can find him sat outside watching the world go by. Bert is now looking for a neutered female rabbit to spend his life with.
Behaviour:
Bert can naturally be slightly nervous when it comes to handling but has definitely improved since being with us! He would require at least one meeting where staff can discuss Bert and his requirements. Questions prior to the bonding of the rabbits can be answered too.
Housing:
Bert can be housed either as an indoor or outdoor rabbit. This could be a large rabbit-proof room, or a large outdoor shed with a run/aviary permanently attached. Minimum sizing is 6ft x 4ft, and either accommodation must be safe environments that allow him to display his natural behaviours, like digging and foraging.
Children/pets:
Bert can live around other animals, but to be kept separately. He can also live with children of primary school age (5-11 years) and up. Younger children should be supervised when interacting/handling rabbits.
Vet history:
Bert has been neutered, microchipped and is fully vaccinated. He has also had a full teeth check and has no current health issues.
Additional information:
We reserve the right to remove a reserve at any stage of the adoption process if we believe it is in the best interest of the rabbits.
Adopters should consider that previous medical conditions will now not be covered by insurance. Adopters are responsible for the on-going medical costs once the animal has been adopted.
Due to the high number of applications we receive daily, regrettably we will only be able to contact the successful applicant.
